For Exatlon’s 6th season, a competitive drama game show akin to American Ninja Warrior / Survivor, we needed to electrify the competition. A new season for the show meant a possibility of new eyes, new repeating viewers, and most importantly a chance to build brand loyalty with continued excitement.
I had the pleasure of designing and compositing from ideation to execution.

Electrifying the competition

Playing off of the electric concept the clients wanted, tests were brought forth and approved. Combining the Blue and Red team colors for visual appeal.

Showcasing the athletes in a new light for this electrifying season. They should be shown as a powerful, superhero like, competitor.

The attention to detail, making sure the composite achieved a grandiose impact was key.
BUILDING CONECTIONS —
Clear team colors with a bold design facelift allowed audiences to pick their favorite contestant and or team. There was massive audience feedback to teams and contestants on social media with great viewer retention.

Exatlon had a successful 6th season from launch all the way to the finally. Audiences and fans were heavily invested in the show, they enjoyed the look and excitement with this brand new season. So much so that Nielson ratings were significantly higher than previous seasons by around 400.
